Living with a room mate can save you money. That is the positive part about room mates. You can either have a great experience or it can be the worst time of your life. If you are tight for money and giving with your patients than having a room mate is a great option for you. Finding someone that respects others privacy is important. Imagine having a snoopy room mate that goes through your stuff when you are not there, or doing strange things that you are unaware of when you are gone. Referrals are the best when picking someone. Always ask for 3 people that they know and call them, check up on them and their past. The past is a great indicator of the future. If the three people say they were good, then take them on. Respect your room mates belongings, and let them have their space. If you live like this then the outcome will be much better. Living in a large house with a lot of people can end up driving one crazy.

Everyone has probably had their room mate experience and can tell a story of how it went. But there is also a great room mate that can also be your best friend for the rest of your life.
